About IVTOM
International Voice Teachers of Mix (IVTOM) is a non-profit organization that strives to teach natural and healthy vocal production in all styles of music. We help singers and teachers to expand their knowledge of teaching the art and science of singing.
IVTOM is for singers, teachers (professional, or new to the profession), and anyone learning the MIX technique. Our staff includes highly trained professionals and experts including otolaryngologists, speech pathologists, vocal coaches and voice scientists, who hold degrees and certifications from the world’s best universities and associations.

“Mix” gives singers the capability to perform with a smooth, strong, balanced, and continuous sound, from the bottom to the top of their vocal register. It is a technique that can be applied to any style of singing and typically helps singers expand their vocal range.
Singers who mix can easily transition through the bridges in their voice without strain, blending registers effortlessly. They can focus on performing a song, whatever their musical style, because their voices are strong, flexible, and reliable.

IVTOM's board is separated into three categories:

IVTOM Board - 9 international members, who meet monthly to oversee all things IVTOM.

Advisory Board - 13 medical professionals and voice teachers. Keep IVTOM up to date with most recent scientific/medical findings.

Education Committee - Creates teacher training modules and creates continual education and programs.
