Q: Can I test out of any of the tracks?
A: Yes SUBSCRIBER MEMBERSHIP - A member who has taken lessons from an accredited IVTOM teacher, can apply to take the IVTOM singer certification prior to taking the classes.
STUDENT ACCREDITATION TRACK - A member who has been teaching for a minimum of 6-months with at least 5 students per week is eligible to apply to take the Student Teaching Certificate prior to taking classes or being paired with an IVTOM teacher.
TEACHER ACCREDITATION TRACK - No member can test out of any part of the Teacher Accreditation Track.
Q: What areas will I be evaluated on?
A: Written - Information regarding vocal function, physiology, and acoustics
Practical - Demonstrate Mix in his/her voice
Practical - Teach effective Mix voice lesson
Q: Are there any charges after I have become an accredited teacher?
A: Yes. There is a yearly charge of $100 which includes ongoing education, and your name in the teacher director directory. You must participate in ongoing education to keep your acreditation active.
